How to find the information you need

WinOptimizer trenner Help manual tips

This help was developed to provide you with information – fast and simple. If you are new to this program please read the sections in the Program Information first. These provide you with basic information on the program.

The content

If you don’t find the chapter or section you’re looking for immediately, go to the Index. If the content is not shown, click on the tap Index in the left window of the help screen. (Click on the icon “show more” in the tools list if the tab is not there). This help system follows the principle “learning by doing”. To every action you can perform in the program you will find a section with explanatory texts. For further information go to Reference.

The Index

To get to the Index click on the tap Index in the left window of the help screen (Click on the icon “show more” in the tools list if the tab is not there.).You can also scroll through the list of entries or enter a search  word in the upper field. If you found a matching keyword, double-click on the entry to view the section that refers to the keyword.

Search

If you haven’t found a fitting expression or keyword, you can do a full-text search. Just click on the tab Search in the help screen(Click on the icon “show more” in the tools list if the tab is not there.). Then start the search by typing in your keyword or expression.

Tip

You can also do complex searches using several search words and using the operators AND, OR, NEAR and NOT. For example: Zum Beispiel: When you enter “Windows®  AND System NOT Me” all sections will be displayed that contain “Windows® ” and “System”, but not “Me”. (“Windows®  AND System AND Me” will bring different results.) When you enter “Windows®  NEAR System” all sections that contain the word “Windows® ” near to the word “System”. Click on the arrow icon on the right next to the input field and you’ll find a drop down list where you can enter operators directly.
