What does the File Encrypter & Decrypter do?
This module enables you to encrypt files to prevent others from accessing their contents without your permission. The files are encrypted with a password that you choose, which is used like a key to lock and unlock your data. The contents of encrypted files are “scrambled” and they cannot be opened by anyone who does not have your password. When you want to access the data you just need to enter your password to decrypt the files – then you can use them again normally. The program encrypts files using the Blowfish algorithm, which is extremely secure, if you use a good password (longer passwords are more secure).
