Defrag 3 Settings
Set a percentage of fragmentation from which a defragmentation is carried out A defragmentation of hard drives with a small degree of fragmentation is needless, because this process would not bring an advantage for security or performance. Thus you can individually define the level of fragmentation of hard drives for the tool to become active. The default setting is 15 %. By clicking on the arrows next to the display (see red arrow) you can adjust this value.
Set the degree of the idle state from which the Pro-Aktiv Defragmentation is active The pro-active defragmentation is only active, when it does not disturb you. If your hard drive takes a break, the time is used to run a pro-aktiv defragmentation. Since also the idle state relative according to the circumstances, you can also define the degree of the idle state of your hard drive for the program to get active. The default setting is 98 %. By clicking on the arrows next to the display you can adjust this value.
View of the cluster map The cluster map shows which files are moved where. The files are symbolized by “colorful squares” that are re-arranged. In this window you can decide whether you want to display the cluster map (this can slow down extremely slow computers), the progress bar will be show or if the legend with the meaning of the squares will be displayed.
